Administration Serving the Team's Logistical Needs Jeff Anderson, Field Director Staff:Frank Egalla, Nerie Carbajal, Olive Fornoles Since 1974, the ACTION Philippine team has been engaged in grassroots evangelism, life-transforming discipleship and innovative development. In ACTION Philippines, we believe in teamwork. Each person plays a vital part in the overall purpose and efforts of the team. We do not make a distinction between "support" and "frontline" missionary service. To us, all mission service is "frontline." The ministry of administration is a vital cog in the gear that supports and facilitates the smooth operation of all our activities and ministries. This ministry is crucial to the effectiveness of all our ministries. Our modest office center is the hub which coordinates and manages all our ministries by providing stability, and good stewardship of the resources that the Lord provides. The administration team assists all the ministries of our teammates by handling finances, missionary work funds, staff salaries and other employment related requirements for staff and contract workers, immigration and other governmental requirements, monthly and annual calendars, monthly team meetings, quarterly staff meetings, team related communications, mail, pays bills, orders supplies, and communicate with other ACTION offices around the world. In short, the ACTION office is the hub of ACTION Philippine's operations. Position Opening Operations Manager urgently needed to serve in Manila, Philippines Description: An Operations Manager is urgently needed in the Manila office of ACTION Philippines, an evangelical ministry among street children, the urban poor and churches located in impoverished areas. This person must have a vital personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, be mature and have adequate business skills. They will need to raise their own support. Applicants may be male or female, single or married, preferably age 25 or above. Length of service is a minimum of two years but can be extended for career service. Purpose of the Position: To direct the affairs of business and finance, legal and government matters and reporting, immigration matters for missionaries, shipping and customs, employment and Filipino staff matters, property and equipment contract / titles (purchase and sales), communication systems, clerical and ACTION archives, and ACTION office operations. The Operations Manager is to see that these affairs are executed with Christian integrity and in compliance to generally accepted standards, nationally and internationally. Qualities Desired: Administratively gifted with willingness to assist missionaries and Filipino people. An organizer with a mind for detail.
